Neuenfels – Wreck, Narvik

M/S Neuenfels was a German ore ship that was anchored in the harbor of Narvik to load ore. However, she was torpedoed by the English destroyers and sank in the harbor. When she went down, parts of the superstructure and masts stuck out above the surface. After the war, these were blown away so that they would not constitute an obstacle to shipping. Parts lie on the bottom next to the wreck.
